516 Outdoors is a brand inspired by Gabe and Jordan Whichel, 2 newlywed missionaries serving in El Paso, TX & Juarez Mexico where they build homes for families in need. Gabe, growing up in North Carolina, fell in love with the outdoors and loves withdrawing to the outdoors to recharge. He fell in love with Luke 5:16 (NLT) which reads "But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer."
